Get to Know the Diverse Food Culture in India

India is a diverse country. We have people with different ethnicity here, wherein each one of them has a different style of living, food and unique set of recipes. Bohri Thaal is one of the unique concepts used by the Bohri community. It is one of the rarest concepts that enhance family bonding. Pathare Prabhu cuisine is yet another similar community based kitchen; you may not find everywhere.

The Bohri meal is all about a huge thaali, which is placed at the center of room and every family member sits around it. The youngest member of the household takes salt container to every member of the family on table, wherein member takes a pinch of the salt to have a taste of it. This is to activate your salivary glands. Then all the members take food from the thaal. You need to create your territory on the thaal so that it would not get messy. The tradition also involves eating sweets between different items in your meal.

The Pathare Prabhu Cuisine
Pathare Prabhu is one of the oldest communities in Mumbai. Even the Pathare Prabhu cuisine is one of the rarest. They do not use much coconut. They have their specific mix of spices called Pathare Prabhu masala. It has been treated to be one of the fastest cooking techniques. The Pathare Prabhu cuisine takes much less time in preparation and the steps involved in cooking are quite lesser in comparison to other Indian cuisines.

Conclusion
As we said before, India is a diverse country, and so are its recipes. It would be indeed advisable to go for the Bohri and Pathare Prabhu variants, especially for the ones who would love to have a taste of Indian cuisine and experience different bits of it.
